![]() I am wondering whether it is the camera itself that is causing some glitches in the movie file itself, and the CyberLink software can't handle it. Not all the movies taken on my JVC camera exhibit this issue, but I am seeing more of it now. Reading some of the other previous posting regarding TOD files, many people seems to be have problems with it, maybe also causing the program to crash also. ![]() ![]() So the workaround to this seems to be that I can convert the TOD file to MP4 using Media Espresso first, then import the MP4 converted file to CyberLink to make the edits and this works. I just upgraded CyberLink from version 9 to 10, thinking that maybe this will fix the issue, but the problem still persits. ![]() You just get one frozen image rest of the way. Sometime 2 to minutes into the movie it is ok, then the software stops being able to view rest of the movie. The symptom is that when the TOD file is imported into the CyberLink, only part of the movie is viewable. I haven't had much of an issue with the JVC or the CyberLink software until recently, but now I am starting to get software crashes more often and seeing some TOD file that can't tranfer to the CyberLink software properly. The camera takes very nice movies and stereo sound quality is quite nice (in my opinion). ![]() I have been using the CyberLink to "produce" the movie into MP4 format or making DVD and loading files into Youtube. This camera use TOD file format which is rather unusual I think, and it has to be always converted to other format like mp4 to be usable on other devices. I have been using JVC GZ-HD7 movie camera for many years now, and I have been using CyberLink program from the beginning as it was the recommended software from JVC. ![]()
